Rosewarne Family c11

This is a log of events in the quest for researching my grandmothers  family history, and evolves into a history of the Rosewarne family

The Rosewarnes go back to 1200 in Cornwall and there are a lot of them, in fact there is even a village called Rosewarne.

The starting point is gathering information from family conversations, so a picture is built up around my grandmother and her immediate family. These stories have some truth and some embellishment that make it all the more interesting. There has been talk of some Spanish blood in the genes somewhere, which is a feature of many Cornish families.

The next step was looking at various documents safely tucked in drawers, such as grandmother’s birth certificate and a marriage certificate, so this led to discovering the names of parents.

After that come the searches…….
